YAKIMA, Washington — Drug investigators say they seized $ 33,000 worth of drugs and $ 39,000 in cash while imprisoned a number of search orders throughout the County of Yakima this week.
Many arrests were made, and the officers seized four guns, according to a press release issued Friday by Yakima Police Department. Two of those arrested were illegally in the United States, authorities said.
Three search warrants were served at the same time Tuesday at home the 1400 block of North 17th Street and the 1800 block of East Avenue Viola, both in Yakima and blocking 700 rifle Lane, North-East of Selah.
Officials said that they found a half-pound of heroin brown Mexican, worth about $ 23,000 and $ 31,000 in cash.
Wednesday, the drug and gang unit YPD search warrant served at home in the block of North 4th Street in Yakima and Stettner Road, Southeast of Mabton 1600.
At the home of Yakima, officers found six ounces of methamphetamine in the backyard, crystal buried according to the news release. The meth was worth approximately 9,000 dollars on the street.
Were also seized two firearms and $ 6,000 in cash.
The two men arrested at that location were just starting to install a monitoring system, when the officers arrived to conduct research, authorities said. The security system has been seized.
At the home of Mabton, police said they found 2.5 ounces of crystal meth, valued at approximately $ 3750 and two rifles.
