Woman in court during the seizure of drugs

A woman appeared in court this morning charged with possession of cannabis worth € 300,000.

The woman in her 20s, she was arrested when gardai searched guest accommodation in the North inner city Dublin on Saturday.

The research was conducted by investigators from Garda national drugs unit drugs Pearse Street and officers from revenue's customs service.

Meanwhile, a man in his 40s, who was arrested on Saturday after a member of the Garda National Drugs and organized crime units searched local Northern Co Dublin area and cannabis resin discovery with a street value of $ 900,000 remains in detention.

Gardai said that the search was "an operation based on intelligence".

The man is in custody at Ashbourne Garda station.

Woman held over £ 100,000 of drugs

a teenager has been arrested after drugs with an estimated street value of over ￡ 100,000 were seized in Aberdeen.

Held on the 18-year-old woman after heroin was recovered in the city centre on Thursday.

The teenager was arrested by local police officers Grampian, including major investigation team.
